旅館 (Ryokan)

The last Kink of the Week intrigued me particularly. Maybe it’s due to the focus on the small but essential cares that give strength to a relationship.

Browsing the old photos, I’ve found a few lovely shots of baths and grooming, ranging from sweet to kinky, passing through classy.

However, I decided to choose this shot from our days in a Japanese ryokan (旅館). This because it was a wholly deliberate act of self-pampering we decided to get, from searching the location, organizing the logistic, and trying to do our best to make the other enjoy it as much as possible.

Remembering the traditional room, the small perfect details, the nature that was awaking outside the broad windows embracing us, the ofuro (お風呂) with its thermal hot water, and the little cares we gave one another is a small pampering too.

Em.

Also, I hope this photo will work as a reminder to dig up a post also the other photos taken in that place.

The care with which the Japanese take with the smallest details comes out in everything they touch within their culture.

Thank you for sharing. I wonder if there is such a place within 150 miles.

Something similar within 150 miles would be a dream. I have to admit that two days at the onsen (not only the private bathtub) were enough to make me feel annoying the bathing suit at the spa.

Sigh the nearest one is 2200 miles away in San Francisco.
